Description of the purpose and objective of the data collection
Your survey data will be processed by the project team at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin only for the above-mentioned project and for no other purpose. The aim of the survey is to find out more about the needs of researchers in the field of electronic lab notebooks in order to enable the further development of electronic lab notebooks within the Berlin University Alliance in line with the needs identified.
Voluntary participation, legal basis, right of withdrawal
Your participation is voluntary. The legal basis for the data processing is your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time for the future by cancelling the survey. Your data will then not be used further. After completing the participation and sending the survey answers, it is no longer possible to withdraw this consent, as your answers can no longer be assigned to you.
Disclosure of data and duration of storage
The sole recipient of the data is the project team at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin. No raw data will be passed on to third parties. Publication of the results will only take place with fully anonymized data. Raw research data are deleted if they are no longer required for the intended purpose. They are stored for a maximum of one year. The LimeSurvey survey tool from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is used to conduct the online survey. The data is processed and stored long term on servers at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin.
Rights of data subjects
With regard to the processing of personal data, the data subject has a fundamental right of access to and right to rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection vis-à-vis the controller within the framework of the legal requirements. If there are doubts as to the lawfulness of the processing of personal data, the data subjects have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority in a member state.
