Information and Guidelines for Creating a Data Management Plan
Information on Data Management Plans can be found on this Website.
Creating a DMP - How It's Done:
- Depending on where you want to submit your proposal, first visit the website of the respective funding agency to learn about the application process.
- Find out whether the application should be submitted in German or English and download the current template from the funding agency.
- Download the appropriate sample DMP from us (you can find these below on our website).
- Carefully review the sample DMP (see below).
- When creating the draft, follow the suggested structure and headings. A DMP typically covers 1-2 pages and is rarely shorter. For large projects like SFBs, a DMP can be significantly more extensive.
- Once you have written the DMP, please compare your draft with the sample DMP to ensure appropriate quality.
- Afterward, feel free to send us your completed DMP draft so we can check if it is ready for submission.
